Mobile App
The main focus of this platform is the app. It is thought of as a tool for users to communicate with their teammates and to help them find additional players and venues, which ultimately sets the app apart from Messenger, WhatsApp or Viber. But in order to develop such a product it is mandatory to make a selection of features that are crucial for the inital release. If the first MVP is well received, we can continue into making a UX Roadmap.
For the prcess I used Design Thinking.

Emphatize
I conducted several User Interviews, along with informal conversations with some friends and acquaintances about the idea. For the interview participants I chose young adults that used to train certain sports when they were in elementary or high school (of course, with some exceptions to the rule just in case).
Also did Competitive Analysis of apps identical or similar to ClutchMove. That means testing the apps with same concept, the ones that are currently being for chatting between participants and the ones that have a stong community like Strava.

Recap
Reflection
This project was a redesign of my previous work and this time I did a lot of things differently.
First is thinking a lot more user-centered. Doing more interviews and structuring them more precisely and also being more prone to adjusting the questions during the research. Also did a lot more journey mapping with my stakeholders to determine the Initial problem and the solution, so that we know in which direction to develop the product.
Second thing I did was focus more on the business ascpect like: How to get to people? How to monetize? How to include venues in such a thins? Knowing in which direction the business is going helps navigate the usabilty, brand and the design as a whole.
Going back in time and reviewing a past project is a good way to determine if the path you are taking is a good one. By noticing progress in your newest work compared to the previous ones give you the right incetive to continue heading forward.
Rearview mirrors are there for a reason.
Glance back, so you know when to turn.
